Conversion Tracking

View and manage your conversion actions within the RAC platform.

How it currently works:

Step 1: Create a conversion action

From the navigation menu at the top, go to “Advertisers” and then select “Conversion Tracking” from the drop down menu.

Select the green “Get Started” button to create a conversion action.

General

Name your conversion action. A recognizable name for this conversion action, example: newsletter signups.

Add an optional description or notes which you may use for adding context to this action.

Choose the overall goal you’re looking to track: a Lead, Click, Purchase, or View.

Measurement

Configure various settings that impact the attribution and record-keeping behavior of the conversion action.

Value: Determine how values will be tracked for this action.

· Fixed: Assign a fixed value to the action. For example, you can set it to only record conversion actions of $1 or more.
· Dynamic: This option requires you to specify a value when sending a conversion to RAC; otherwise, a zero value will be set.
· None: Choosing this option will discard any value provided with the conversion. You won't be able to track earnings with this option but you will continue to track the total number of conversions.

Count: Determine how many conversions should be counted per unique click or interaction.

· One: Track each new conversion. It's recommended when tracking goals like purchases, clicks, or views.
· Every: Tracks one conversion per click. It's recommended when tracking goals like leads or sign-ups.

Window: Time after an advertisement click where a new conversion will be accepted. Select from:

· 15 days
· 30 days
· 60 days
· Other - Manually configure a conversion window (value in days since the user clicked your advertisement).

Confirm your conversion action by selecting the green “Create” button in the bottom right.

Step 2: Implementing the Code

Once you've created the conversion action, a documentation page will appear showing the steps on how to implement the tracking code into your website.

This documentation provides all the necessary instructions for adding the code to your site.
